Applaudo Studios has grown rapidly in the last years and our story continues to resonate internationally.

We have had the opportunity to be part of the most important councils in the world such as the Forbes Technology Council, Forbes Agency Council, Austin Technology Council, Capital Factory and Young Entrepreneur Council. Today, we are proud to announce that our co-founder, Darwin Romero, has been selected to participate in the prestigious Owner/President Management Program at Harvard Business School.

We are grateful for the opportunity of being admitted into the world’s top business school and top business program for entrepreneurs. For more than 40 years, Harvard has helped elite executives and top entrepreneurs develop their true leadership potential, learn successful business practices and expand their professional network.

Being selected to participate in this elite program is an investment that will deliver long-term returns for both our co-founder and Applaudo. It is a great honor for El Salvador to have top business leaders representing the country among other C-Level executives from around the world, letting everyone know the potential and talent that exists here.

What is the Harvard Owner/President Management Program about?

The program looks for top executives and business owners who reflect a broad range of industries, functions, countries, and backgrounds. However, being admitted is not an easy process.

Candidates must go through an application process in which only those who have demonstrated business talent and leadership potential are selected. There are no formal educational requirements, admission is a selective process based on professional achievement and organizational responsibility.

The Owner/President Management Program is considered one of the 5 Elite programs at Harvard University, providing full Alumni rights to those who finish it.  The program is designed for business owners and entrepreneurs with at least 10 years of work experience and who also serve in a C-Level Executive position. Another key aspect for potential candidates is to come from companies with annual revenues or established enterprise value of more than $10 million and must have a significant equity stake in their firms.

Between sessions, you have the opportunity to work and meet other top executives and entrepreneurs, examining a wide range of topics, from finance, marketing and sales to leadership, negotiations and global markets. In addition, it allows entrepreneurs to evaluate their strengths and weaknesses, identify and exploit emerging opportunities and transform their company and career.

The program is delivered in three units that span in three years. Each intensive three-week unit dives deep into the essentials of building and running a successful business. During these three weeks, participants attend Harvard University at Boston, Massachusetts, while the remaining time of the course is taken remotely until the next unit begins.

Being selected to participate in the Owner/President Management Program is a blessing and a privilege. We are grateful for the opportunity to be able to represent El Salvador internationally in the world’s top business school. At Applaudo, we firmly believe in the amazing talent that exists in our country, that is why we always seek to seize opportunities and support initiatives that we know will make a difference.“, shares our co-founder, Darwin Romero.

The Owner/President Management Program is a life-changing experience that helps create a powerful network with other business leaders, enhance leadership and business skills, helps innovate and to prepare for the new challenges that lie ahead.
